Ele is passionate about bridging cultures and facilitating business expansion into Asia. Her curiosity about different cultures has led her to reside in various cosmopolitan cities such as Singapore, London, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. With a background in business consulting and training, Ele finds fulfillment in assisting businesses and individuals in acclimating to new environments. In her leisure time, she finds joy in singing her heart out at karaoke sessions and honing her K-pop dance moves.

Jiaqi has made it her mission to make sure Singapore is known for more than just Crazy Rich Asians and chicken rice. Closer to her heart is the work she does across social campaigns, partnerships and international activations - bringing a piece of home to Singaporeans based in China. Outside of work, you’ll find her on the Pilates reformer, binging on the next kdrama or on a very serious quest to find the best bubble tea in town.

Nothing bores Joanna more than having a quiet meal by herself. She is energized by having people around her, be it over catching up with a bunch of close buddies over her favourite “mala” hotpot, or fostering stronger ties with partners and associates at work events. Joanna looks forward to meeting new friends in China and getting their advice on authentic Southern Chinese cuisine.

Once upon a time, Cheryl was the face behind SGN’s social media accounts. Now, this digital marketer has traded crafting campaigns for creating partnerships based out of NYC. Despite her occasional deadpan voice, Cheryl's need for purpose-driven work fuels her to foster connections and cultivate communities. When she finds time away from her day job, she's mastering the art of wiping out gracefully on board sports like snowboarding and wakesurfing.

Passionate in treading the intersection between business and technology. Enjoys building innovative solutions and collaborating with people to establish the vision and define the north star. A lifelong learner at heart, Daryl is always game for a conversation to hear diverse perspectives from individuals hailing from various walks of life.

Vincent is happiest when a casual intro turns into something meaningful. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area with Singapore Global Network, he works with overseas Singaporeans and friends of Singapore across tech and innovation to build community and bridge opportunities between the US and Singapore. When he is not in community mode, you will probably find him planning his next trip and chasing wide open desert landscapes because there is nothing like silence, big skies, and a horizon that goes on forever.

Jonathan enjoys connecting with others over local hawker fare, coffee or over a game of racquet sports. With a background in geography, Jonathan is an aviation geek and loves enriching experiences where people, culture, and networks transcend boundaries and come together in vibrant places – & there is no better place than in Singapore!

Ian is passionate about the arts and its potential to connect people, and dreams of writing a novel one day. With a background that has spanned education, aviation, tech and the arts, he enjoys joining the dots to solve problems and deliver real-world impact for people and communities. When not at work, Ian is either putting himself through the emotional wringer that is the latest K-drama, or trying to learn a new language.

Teri is an outgoing individual who finds any opportunity to escape to Bali's waves. Her love for cats is only matched by her dedication to creating a greener future. Having lived in Singapore, Shanghai, and London, Teri has gained a global perspective that fuels her passion for making a positive impact.

Winnie enjoys conversations that go a little deeper. The kind where she gets to understand what really drives someone. She has built a career in the innovation ecosystem, with stints at a startup, a VC accelerator, and in corporate innovation. It has been a rewarding tour across the ecosystem, and she enjoys seeing how it all comes together. Outside of work, her interests are varied. She is often on the hunt for a good matcha, getting lost in a film or book, wandering through museums, or at a live music gig. And when she is not doing any of that, she is probably squeezing in a workout.

Patrina is a keen learner of the histories, cultures and societies of Southeast Asia, fascinated both by values we share and the unique identities that distinguish us. With a background in talent mobility and development and migration policies, Patrina is excited to connect with communities in Southeast Asia and growing and deepening the ties between these Southeast Asian networks with SGN’s global networks.

Jessie enjoys a good cup of coffee, slow mornings and the occasional G&T. Inspired by her stint at BBC Studios working with documentary producers, she strives to bring a touch of creativity and sustainability to her work. She’d love to connect with communities across Southeast Asia and Australia to find out what collaborations they want to see, and what makes them feel alive.

As an extrovert, Valerina is enthusiastic about meeting new friends and fans of Singapore, especially over a cup of coffee. With an interest in converging cultures and connecting people across geographies and affiliations, Valerina hopes to build a global community in UK and Europe through a unique Singapore experience. Currently based in London, Valerina can be found wandering around a museum in her spare time or on a train out to the rest of Europe.
